Biliary Covered Metal Stent

Covered metal stents provide a longer patency rate than uncovered metal stents in malignant biliary strictures, but have a higher migration rate. The risks of pancreatitis and cholecystitis with covered metal stent use appear slightly higher than when uncovered metal stents are used in malignant biliary strictures. The scope of this project was to create a series of illustrations of Medtronic’s biliary device’s for promotional use.
